So how does the Pioneer GM D8500 stack up when compared to other amps in a similar price range and wattage range? You can look at the comparison table below to get some ideas. Please be aware that all these companies play games with the power specs. But these generally are similar in wattage. I suspect the Legacy, while it is a great deal, is very optimistic in their power ratings. But it did get good reviews. In fact, all of the amps below got good reviews.
Just remember in the "you get what you pay for" world that you may get higher quality amps with the higher priced units. The price range is 3 to 1 with the most expensive amp claiming the least wattage, so think about that.
