How to Vent a Subwoofer Enclosure?
I just recently acquired 2 12inch subs in a sealed enclosure for my car. Now I want to vent them and put in port tubes so I can get more boom out of it. How do I know where to drill the holes, what size holes, and what length port tubes to install. If it is important they 1000 Watt HyperPro Subs hooked up to a 500 watt Sony Explod amp.
Check the manufactures web site. They should have a guide the will help you with port size and length. You will need to know the Internal volume of the box. Remember to subtract the volume of the subs basket and magnet ... good luck.
